A very instructive book for PHP beginners who get used to ActionScript. The author always tries to describe about PHP in comparison with ActionScript (the same kind of function between, scope of local variables, etc.). His effort definitely worked for me. The problem is its age; concerned ActionScript in the book is 2.0. However I use it as a PHP reference book even now.
Q. When you move from Europe to Japan, would you like to keep this book?
A. Yes, if I would have an interest in PHP by that day.
